Q1. How can I access my VMS account on kuc01?
- Click on "Start" menu. Then click on "Run" application program.
- The "Run" window will pop up. Fill in the "Open" field with this address:
telnet kuc02.kuniv.edu.kw. Then click on "OK" button.
- You will be prompted to enter your username and password.
- After "Username:" prompt, type in your kuc01 username. Then click on "Enter" button.
- After "Password:" prompt, type in your kuc01 password. Then click on "Enter" button.
- Once you've succeeded telneting to Kuwait University VMS server, you will be prompted
with the following welcome statement: "Welcome To K.U.C.S. - Alpha Server 4100". Then
the "$" sign prompt will appear which means you are now ready to begin your VMS journey.
Note: you can start a telnet session by clicking on this button
